Addressing Localised Fat Effectively Via Cryolipolysis or Fat Freezing Procedure

Are you so concerned about the accumulation of fat in specific areas of your body? Do you know that it is greatly influenced by diet, genetics, hormones, and lifestyle? Well, you can solve this problem with the use of proven methods with minimal downtime and few side effects.

    Common Areas of Localised Fat

If you are conscious about how you look, one of the things you may notice is the appearance of localised fat. This can be observed in the abdomen, which is common in both men and women. They are often linked to hormonal changes, poor diet, and stress.

Thighs are also another area with localised fat, which is more prevalent in women due to hormonal differences. This is also more noticeable around the inner and outer thighs. Fats may also appear on the hips and love handles, which are often a result of genetics and can be hard to target with exercise alone.

Note that fat tends to accumulate around the upper arms, particularly in women as you age. In addition to that, there are back and bra bulges that may be related to posture and weight distribution or due to genetics. Chin and neck fat can also be due to age, genetics, or overall weight gain.

    Why Localised Fat Is Resistant

One of the reasons for the resistance of localised fat is the higher concentration of fat cells in specific areas. These make them more prone to concentration or storage. At the same time, the differences in blood flow can also result in the appearance of localised fat. For instance, certain fat deposits may receive less blood flow, which can make them less responsive to mobilisation during exercise. Stress hormones like cortisol may also cause fat to accumulate in the abdominal area. Estrogen is also another factor that affects fat storage in the hips and thighs.

    How to Address Localised Fat

The good thing about this is that it can be addressed with the use of different methods. For one, you may focus on your diet and exercise. However, you can only address localised fat using targeted efforts. Moreover, if you thought that crunches would spot-reduce fat, then you are mistaken. They can only strengthen and tone the muscles beneath the fat. So, it may not be able to have an impact on localised fat.

The most effective way is to provide medical and cosmetic treatment to the affected area. One of these methods is the use of non-invasive options, such as cryolipolysis or fat freezing. This procedure can target specific fat pockets without causing damage to other cells.

After completing this procedure, the body will absorb the damaged cells and eliminate them safely through the body’s natural metabolic process. Note that this procedure can also cause the fat cells to freeze and then begin to deteriorate and die. The liver and lymphatic system gradually eliminate the destroyed fat cells from the body, typically through urine or sweat.
